Rob,

Thanks for checking that.  I'm working on a safer way to 
thread/multiprocess.

But, in order to have this to work with sqlite (which would be desirable 
for most users), I'm rewriting parts of the API so there is somehow a 
"sqlite server" running on top of a single sqlite instance.

I'll keep you updated,
