[MSNoise] [EXTERNAL] Re: stack fail

Sorry, it looks like I spoke too soon.

It seems like it runs, but it doesn't actually write out any data. I tried
both without creating a stack directory, and with explicitly making
"STACK/01/REF/ZZ" etc.
